Central Christian Church was founded in 1882 and has served our Lord and our community ever since. We are a part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). We confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and proclaim him Lord and Savior of the world. We support many missions in our neighborhood, historic Harrisburg, our city, our state, and beyond.
Central is a community of good will where the differing convictions of its members are held in respect by all others. Where membership does not mean a regimentation of thought, but a common commitment to Christ, as God’s complete disclosure of Himself.
We sing traditional Hymns and partake of the Lord’s Supper, as was the custom of the early church, at every service. All who believe and confess faith in our savior, Jesus Christ, are welcome to the table of the Lord, regardless of church affiliation or membership.
