
Where are you located?
Central Christian Church is located in Augusta, Georgia. The address is 220 Crawford Avenue in Augusta, GA. It is between Broad Street and Calhoun Expressway, not far away from the Kroc Center.
When should I arrive?
On Sunday mornings, coffee and snack fellowship begins at 9:45am. The transition into Sunday School begins at 10:00am. Our morning worship service starts at 10:55am.
What should I wear?
We feel that you should dress in whatever makes you comfortable. There will be some people in blue jeans, some in slacks and a t-shirt, and some who will be dressed in their “Sunday Best”. Come as you are!
What will service be like?
Our worship service typically lasts about an hour. We meet weekly in the Sanctuary for a traditional worship service. During the service, we read scripture, have a sermon, and partake in communion together weekly. Anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their savior is welcome to partake in communion.
Will I be pressured to give money?
No. We never pressure anyone to give. We are thankful that you chose Central as a place to worship. If you are called to give to support the church and its missions, you are certainly welcome to do so.
Do you follow-up with visitors after a visit?
We invite our visitors to fill out a visitor’s card during their visit with us. We will touch basis with you through a follow-up phone call or letter in the mail to acknowledge your visit to the church. We will never knock on your door and we will not attempt to intrude on you. We always welcome visitors and any concerns they may have.
